Total Recall

This is an informal journal and collections of our stories and photos we have accumilated on our travels. The people we meet and the places we see inspire us to travel further, for longer, so maybe we will meet again.

Amys Turn to leat Y'all know!!!

Amy’s turn: Hey bloggers! Glad to hear you like our web page! After enduring the smog of Bangkok for only one day and having a mini holiday on Koh Phangan we have made it to the beautiful clear blue shores of Koh Tao, our new home. After staying a few nights here and there in random resorts we have found somewhere to rent on a monthly basis. As you can probably see from the pictures it is brand new, we are the first to live here. It may look a bit shed like as it’s made of wood but its way nicer than some places we looked at! Plus the landlords are cool; they have a bar at the top of a very steep hill at the other end of the island and give us free lifts there when we want. Those are the photos from above, the ones from the bar look down over Chaolok Ban Ko, our first place we stayed. There is a free lightening show every night, and only cool people hang out there…
We have also hired a semi automatic motorbike for a month so we can get around. I am probably going to start my Divemaster course next week but there are so many schools to choose from and I am being as indecisive as ever! Done a couple of dives the other day that were pretty good, nothing amazing to report though, saw blue spotted rays, moray eels and triggerfish. The water here is so warm though, its still about 30 degrees at 20 metres! I have also found a couple of yoga classes, which I am well pleased about. Kieran has taken to wearing sarongs, which actually look quite fetching, no Beckham jokes please! Will give you another update soon, love to you all xxxx
